2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of |
4 | | Aparicishell Ann Mosley; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley was born on September 9, 1957 |
6 | | in Chicago; her parents were Eunice Mosley and Thomas Mcullogh; |
7 | | she accepted Christ into her life and was baptized at an early |
8 | | age; she married Hector Delgado, Sr. on August 29, 1997; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, After graduating from James Wadsworth Elementary |
10 | | School, Aparicishell Mosley continued her education at Tilden |
11 | | High School; she later attended Columbia College Chicago to |
12 | | study art and creative writing; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley was employed as a cook at |
14 | | Mount Sinai Hospital and worked at Pierre's Catering, where she |
15 | | proudly displayed her exemplary culinary skills; she also |
16 | | worked at the Chicago Park District; and |
17 | | WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley had a deep passion for the |
18 | | arts; at a very young age, she took an interest in drawing and |
19 | | arts and crafts; her most recent interests included the |
20 | | appreciation of nature and photography; she also won numerous |
21 | | awards for many of her drawings and art displays; and

1 | | WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley was preceded in death by her |
2 | | loving grandmother, Charity Vining; and
|
3 | | WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley is survived by her mother, |
4 | | Eunice Serrano; her husband, Hector, Sr.; 2 daughters, Eunice |
5 | | (Richard) Evans and Alicia (Dante) Sawyer; a son, Hector |
6 | | Delgado, Jr.; a brother, Michael (Dawn); 4 sisters, Melissa |
7 | | (LaValle), Madeline (Nicholas), Montoya, and Michelle (Arrid); |
8 | | 6 grandchildren, Jasmine, David, Daniel, Jalen, Payton, and |
9 | | Jordyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Journey and Aris; an uncle; 2 |
10 | | aunts; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; |
11 | | therefore, be it

12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
13 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
14 | | we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of |
15 | | Aparicishell Ann Mosley; and be it further

16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
17 | | presented to the family of Aparicishell Mosley as an expression |
18 | | of our sympathy.
