HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anita Jo 
4Grace of Olive Branch, who passed away on May 15, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace was born on September 18, 1961 to 
6Leland and Mary Jo (nee Collins) McKee; she married Walter 
7Grace on February 14, 1981; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace was an outstanding member of the 
9business and education communities; she was branch President of 
10the First National Bank of Cairo, where she had worked for the 
11previous 27 years; she served on the board of directors for the 
12Olive Branch Area Community Development Corporation, the Olive 
13Branch Cemetery Association, and the Dodge Memorial Public 
14Library; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace was a member of Alexander Freewill 
16Baptist Church and the Rotary Club of Cairo; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, Anita Jo Grace is survived by her husband, Walt; 
18her mother, Mary Jo McKee; her daughter, Lesley; her son, 
19Justin (Jessica); her granddaughter, Natalie; her sister, 
20Rhonda Sue Stokes (Terry Hunt); her 2 brothers, Jerry Leland 
21(Georgia) McKee and Michael Lee McKee; her sister-in-law, Dr.

1Linda Grace; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4mourn the passing of Anita Jo Grace, and extend our sincere 
5condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
6her; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Anita Jo Grace as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
