Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act. Makes a technical change in a Section relating to the taxation of the Plan.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Deletes reference to:
215 ILCS 105/9
Adds reference to:
50 ILCS 750/15.4a

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act. Provides that a Joint Emergency Telephone System Board consisting of 2 or more municipalities which has been consolidated for 2 or more years shall comply with the consolidation requirements of the Act on or before July 1, 2020 (rather than July 1, 2017). Provides that a Joint Emergency Telephone System Board consisting of 2 or more municipalities shall comply with the requirement to file a plan for consolidation or a waiver from consolidation under the Act on or before July 1, 2019 (rather than July 1, 2016). Provides that no Emergency Telephone System Board, Joint Emergency Telephone System Board, qualified governmental entity, or PSAP that has fully implemented Next Generation 9-1-1 prior to the effective date of the amendatory Act shall be required to comply with the consolidation requirements of this Act. Effective immediately.
