Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Task Force on Reverse Auction Procurement to investigate whether reverse auctions should be implemented in Illinois procurement law.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the heading with provisions similar to the resolution as introduced with the following changes: Provides that a member appointed by the Executive Ethics Commission (rather than the Director of the Department of Central Management Services or his or her designee) shall serve as chairperson of the task force. Provides that the Executive Ethics Commission (rather than the Department of Central Management Services) shall provide staffing and administrative support to the task force.
