Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that when ownership information is needed for a towing service to give notification to the vehicle owner, the towing service shall (rather than may) cause the vehicle registration records of the State of Illinois to be searched by the Secretary of State.
