Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Highway Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning a county board's use of tax moneys.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code if and only if Senate Bill 627 of the 99th General Assembly becomes law as passed by both houses, to limit eligibility for the employment exemption for operating a motor vehicle without a required interlock ignition device by a person convicted of a second or subsequent driving under the influence offense, within a 5-year period, until one year has elapsed during which the person had his or her driving privileges revoked or had a restricted driving permit which required use of the device. Effective upon becoming law or on the date Senate Bill 627 of the 99th General Assembly takes effect, whichever is later.
