SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frances M. Jerina of North Chicago, who
4passed away on July 30, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was born in North Chicago on August
625, 1923; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was employed at Westvaco (U.S.
8Envelope Co), and retired after 30 years of service; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was a member of The Most Blessed
10Trinity, Queen of Peace Parish, St. Mary's #79 K.S.K.J, The
11Steelworkers Retiree Club, and The Slovenic Club; she sang in
12the church choir and was very generous with her time,
13volunteering for many church and lodge activities; she was also
14a member of The Quarter Century Club; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Frances Jerina was preceded in death by her
16husband, Frank; her parents, Anton and Frances Jesenovec; and
17her brother, Tony; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Frances Jerina is survived by her daughter, Pat
19(Rudy) Pugel; 2 sons, John (Marcia) and Jim (Robin) Jerina; 6
20grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Pugel, Andrea (Lee) Ostrowski,

1Christa (Jeremy) Kerber, Kendall, Cameron, and Christopher
2(Michelle) Jerina; 3 great-grandchildren, Liam, Brayden, and
3Vincent; 3 step-great-grandchildren, Aliina, Jason, and
4Maddox; 2 sisters, Angie (Mel) Harlow and Mary Chamernik; and a
5sister-in-law, Julie Jesenovec; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Frances M. Jerina, and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who and knew loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Frances Jerina as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
