SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Richard B. "Dick" Wenzel of Crystal Lake, 
4who passed away on July 8, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Wenzel was born on August 1, 1931, in 
6Marietta, Ohio; his parents were Roy and Anna Wenzel; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Richard Wenzel grew up in Marietta, Ohio, where he 
8was an outstanding athlete and graduated from Marietta College 
9with a degree in geology; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, After serving his country for 4 years in the 
11United States Air Force, Richard Wenzel worked in sales for 
12Motorola for 27 years; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Wenzel is survived by his loving wife of 
1459 years, Nancy; 4 children, Susan (Robert) Liva, Richard, Jr. 
15(Nancy), Clifford, and Britt (Jerri); 9 grandchildren, Robert 
16and Louis Liva, Ted and Abbey Wenzel, Taylor Wenzel, and Jason, 
17Kyle, Nicholas, and Anna Wenzel; a sister, Sophie Morris; and 
18many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard B. "Dick" 
2Wenzel; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Richard Wenzel as an expression of
