2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of John Justin Moore of Crystal Lake, who |
4 | | passed away on April 28, 2014; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, John Moore was born on October 21, 1970 in |
6 | | Plattsburgh, New York; his parents were Jerome and Susan (nee |
7 | | Flannery) Moore; he married Margaret "Maggie" (nee Nichols) on |
8 | | July 5, 1997, in Poughkeepsie, New York; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, John Moore attended Saratoga Springs High School |
10 | | and Plattsburgh State University; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, John Moore was a proud member of the United States |
12 | | Army Reserve; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, John Moore was employed as a Senior Technical |
14 | | Director at AT&T; he was also a self-employed businessman of |
15 | | the Algonquin Family Laundromat and was involved with other |
16 | | business ventures; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, John Moore was a member of numerous organizations, |
18 | | including the Nunda Masonic Lodge #169 of Crystal Lake, the |
19 | | Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Algonquin Chamber of |
20 | | Commerce, the American Legion, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton |

1 | | Church; he also served as a volunteer at the Northern Illinois |
2 | | Food Bank and the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity; and |
3 | | WHEREAS, John Moore was preceded in death by his maternal |
4 | | grandparents, John and Ann Flannery; his paternal |
5 | | grandparents, Justin and Catherine Moore; and an uncle, John |
6 | | Flannery; and
|
7 | | WHEREAS, John Moore is survived by his loving wife, Maggie; |
8 | | 2 children, Collin Jerome Moore and Lena Donnarumma; his |
9 | | parents, Jerome and Susan; a sister, Amy S. (Brendan) Kelly; a |
10 | | brother, William B. (Christina) Moore; 4 uncles, Kevin, |
11 | | Christopher, Patrick, and Dennis Flannery; an aunt, Linda |
12 | | Flannery; 2 cousins, Bridget and Chelsey Flannery; 3 nephews, |
13 | | Justin and Joey Moore and Alex Kelly; and 2 nieces, Cetera |
14 | | Moore and Mackenzie Kelly; therefore, be it

15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
17 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of John Justin Moore; and |
18 | | be it further

19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
20 | | presented to the family of John Moore as an expression of our |
21 | | sympathy.
