SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Catherine M. Freund of McHenry, who 
4passed away on March 31, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Catherine Freund was born on January 2, 1928 in 
6Chicago to Joseph and Catherine (nee Martini) Wagner; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, Catherine Freund was an avid fan of the Chicago 
8Cubs, White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks and enjoyed going 
9bowling; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Catherine Freund was preceded in death by her 
11daughter, Kim "Cookie" Freund; her brothers, John and 
12Alexander; and by her parents; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Catherine Freund is survived by her husband of 64 
14years, Walter J. Freund; her children, Mark (Cynthia) Freund 
15and Jayne (John) Bennett; 4 grandchildren; 5 
16great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy (Robert) 
17Herrmann; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Catherine M. Freund, and extend our sincere condolences to her

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
