SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Eugene A. Rosio of Harvard, who passed
4away on February 23, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio was born on April 15, 1933 in
6Rhinelander, Wisconsin to Raymond and Catherine (nee Rolain)
7Rosio; he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and
8served in the United States Army during the Korean War; he
9married Ruth Patton in September of 1956; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio taught at McHenry High School for 35
11years in science, agriculture, welding, power mechanics, and
12auto mechanics, and was a Future Farmers of America Advisor;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio served as a volunteer fireman with
15the Alden-Hebron-Greenwood Fire Department; he enjoyed
16fishing, camping, automotive repair, and was a part-time
17inventor; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio was preceded in death by his parents;
19his wife; and his brother, Roland Rosio; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio is survived by his children, Gina

2Rosio, Natalie (Brian) Lovato, and Allen (Tawnya) Rosio; his 11
3grandchildren; his 2 great-grandchildren; his sister, Janet
4(Marvin) Haase; and his brothers, Glen, Richard, and Dale
5Rosio; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Eugene A. Rosio, and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Eugene Rosio as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
