SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Morgan M. McKinnon of Murrayville, who 
4passed away on July 18, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon was born on September 10, 1995, in 
6Jacksonville, to Patrick and Cynthia L. Neff McKinnon; she was 
7entering her senior year at Jacksonville High School, where she 
8played volleyball; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon liked helping others in any way 
10she could, whether it was donating blood or tutoring autistic 
11children; she enjoyed spending time with her family and her 
12dog, Bella; she worked at Leo's Pizza in Jacksonville; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon was a member of Murrayville House 
14of Prayer; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon cherished the time she spent with 
16the love of her life, Leo Alfano; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon was preceded in death by her 
18paternal grandparents, Paul and Eula McKinnon and by her niece, 
19Kaydence Woods; and

1    WHEREAS, Morgan McKinnon is survived by her parents; her 
2brother, Patrick McKinnon; her sisters, Rachel Downs, Celeste 
3Panky, Ashley Henson, Brittany Woods, and Erica McKinnon; her 
4maternal grandparents, Lynda and John Hartz and Lloyd Neff; and 
5several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; 
6therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
9Morgan M. McKinnon, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
11further
  
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to the family of Morgan McKinnon as an expression of 
14our deepest sympathy.
