2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Joseph A. Barron Jr. of Granite City, who |
4 | | passed away on March 27, 2013; and

5 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. was born on April 17, 1939, in |
6 | | East St. Louis, to Jose A. and Ramona (nee Bernal-Rivera) |
7 | | Barron Sr.; he married Mary L. Ortiz on November 7, 1959, in |
8 | | Fairmont City; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. owned and operated Employer |
10 | | Services Company in the metro East St. Louis area for over 30 |
11 | | years; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. was of the Catholic faith and a |
13 | | past president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. was preceded in death by his |
15 | | parents and his brothers, Hector and Marcos Barron; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. is survived by his wife, Mary; |
17 | | his daughter, Linda M. Barron; his sons, Joseph A. (Kathy) |
18 | | Barron III, David A. Barron, Phillip A. Barron, James A. |
19 | | (Briget) Barron, and Mark A. Barron; his grandchildren, Joseph |
20 | | James Barron and Suzanne Rich; his great-grandson, Jak |
