AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1984 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1984 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
 
4    "Section 5. The School Code is amended  by adding Section 
518-8.07 as follows:
 
6    (105 ILCS 5/18-8.07 new)
7    Sec. 18-8.07. State Board's budget; separate line items.  
8Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the State Board of 
9Education's annual budget must set out each of the following by 
10separate line item appropriation:
11        (1)  The amount for the purposes of subsection (E) of 
12    Section 18-8.05 of this Code.
13        (2)  The amount for the purposes of subsection (G)(3) of 
14    Section 18-8.05 of this Code.
15        (3)  The amount for the purposes of subsection (H) of 
16    Section 18-8.05 of this Code.

1    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
2becoming law.".
