| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 1-123 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (210 ILCS 45/1-123) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 4151-123)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 1-123.
"Resident's representative" means a person |
| 8 | | other than the
owner not related to the resident, or an agent |
| 9 | | or employee of a facility not related to the resident,
|
| 10 | | designated in writing by a resident to be his representative, |
| 11 | | or the resident's
guardian, or the parent of a minor resident |
| 12 | | for whom no guardian has been appointed.
