2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources |
5 | | (Conservation) Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois |
6 | | is amended by changing Section 805-510 as follows:
|
7 | | (20 ILCS 805/805-510) (was 20 ILCS 805/63a13)
|
8 | | Sec. 805-510. Public monuments and memorials. The |
9 | | Department has the
power to erect, supervise, and maintain all |
10 | | public monuments
and
memorials erected by the State on |
11 | | properties under the jurisdiction of the
Department of Natural |
12 | | Resources, except when the supervision and maintenance
of a |
13 | | monument or memorial is otherwise provided by law. Under
the |
14 | | power granted by this
Section the Department shall (i) provide |
15 | | a site in Rock Cut State Park for
the Winnebago County Vietnam |
16 | | Veterans' Memorial and (ii) allow the Vietnam
Veterans' Honor |
17 | | Society to erect the Memorial of an agreed design.
