| 1 | | AN ACT concerning regulation.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 1-125.1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (210 ILCS 45/1-125.1) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 4151-125.1)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 1-125.1.
"Student intern" means any person whose total |
| 8 | | term of employment
in any facility during any 12-month period |
| 9 | | is equal to or less than 90 continuous
days, and whose term of |
| 10 | | employment is either,
|
| 11 | | (1) an academic credit requirement in a high school or |
| 12 | | undergraduate or graduate institution; , or
|
| 13 | | (2) immediately succeeds a full quarter, semester or |
| 14 | | trimester of academic
enrollment in either a high school or |
| 15 | | undergraduate or graduate institution, provided
that such |
| 16 | | person is registered for another full quarter, semester or |
| 17 | | trimester
of academic enrollment in either a high school or |
| 18 | | undergraduate or graduate institution
which quarter, semester |
| 19 | | or trimester will commence immediately following
the term of |
| 20 | | employment; or .
|
| 21 | | (3) immediately succeeds graduation from the high school or |
| 22 | | undergraduate or graduate institution. |
