| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 108A-10 as follows:
|

| 7 | | Sec. 108A-10. Appeal by State. In addition to any other

| 8 | | right to appeal, the

| 12 | | Where the State appeals, such appeal shall be taken within

| 14 | | and shall be diligently prosecuted.
