| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental |
| 5 | | Disabilities Code is amended by changing Section 1-103 as |
| 6 | | follows:
|
| 7 | | (405 ILCS 5/1-103) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 1-103)

| 8 | | Sec. 1-103.
"Clinical psychologist" means a person |
| 9 | | licensed by the Department of Financial and Professional |
| 10 | | Regulation under the Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act. |
| 11 | | psychologist registered with
the Illinois Department of |
| 12 | | Professional Regulation who meets the following
|
| 13 | | qualifications:
|
| 14 | | (a) has a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited |
| 15 | | university, college,
or professional school, and has two years |
| 16 | | of supervised experience in health
services of which at least |
| 17 | | one year is postdoctoral and one year is in an
organized health |
| 18 | | service program; or
|
| 19 | | (b) has a graduate degree in psychology from a regionally |
| 20 | | accredited
university or college, and has not less than six |
| 21 | | years of experience as a
psychologist with at least two years |
| 22 | | of supervised experience in health
services.
