2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives wish to recognize the impending nuptials of | ||||||
4 | Megan Maureen Korczynski and Kevin P. Gow, Jr.; and | ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Megan Maureen Korczynski looks forward, with | ||||||
6 | great excitement and anticipation, to the adventure and sojourn | ||||||
7 | of love and marriage that she is about to embark on; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Megan Maureen reflects fondly upon her years | ||||||
9 | living and working in Chicago and graduating from the Chicago | ||||||
10 | International Academy of Design and Technology; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Kevin P. Gow, Jr. shares Megan Maureen's joy and | ||||||
12 | jubilation and fondly reflects upon living and working in | ||||||
13 | Chicago, and earning his master's degree from Chicago DePaul | ||||||
14 | University; he looks forward to his adventure as the husband | ||||||
15 | protector and provider; and

16 | WHEREAS, The values learned from the father of the groom, a | ||||||
17 | former Captain in the United States Marine Corps, and the late | ||||||
18 | Mrs. Gow, have provided Kevin the qualities of great character, | ||||||
19 | competence, vision, and drive; they have created a leader, and | ||||||
20 | the father of the groom is proud knowing his son's formative | ||||||
21 | years, as the son of a Marine, have provided him with the |

1 | intestinal fortitude and knowledge necessary to stand as a "Top | ||||||
2 | Gun" husband, father, and companion; and

3 | WHEREAS, The father of the bride - Precinct Captain of the | ||||||
4 | 33rd Ward, United States Marine circa 1960, Major, United | ||||||
5 | States Air Force/Cap., Chicago Park District's Security Park | ||||||
6 | Operations Manager, educator, and teacher - and the mother of | ||||||
7 | the bride, stand proud knowing that the lessons Megan Maureen | ||||||
8 | has learned from both father and mother have enabled her to | ||||||
9 | develop a positive, predictable, environment where all are | ||||||
10 | treated with respect and dignity; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, The father and mother of the bride have instilled | ||||||
12 | the qualities of strength, courage, and perseverance in Megan | ||||||
13 | and have provided her with the necessary skills to be the | ||||||
14 | "best" wife, which will put to good use her father's values of | ||||||
15 | strength and perseverance; and

16 | WHEREAS, The mother of the bride is both an educator and a | ||||||
17 | teacher and is confident that Megan has acquired the grace and | ||||||
18 | intellect so thoughtfully given; therefore, be it | ||||||
19 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
20 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
21 | we recognize the impending nuptials of Megan Maureen Korczynski | ||||||
22 | and Kevin P. Gow, Jr., and wish them many yeas of marital |
