HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize the impending nuptials of 
4Megan Maureen Korczynski and Kevin P. Gow, Jr.; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Megan Maureen Korczynski looks forward, with 
6great excitement and anticipation, to the adventure and sojourn 
7of love and marriage that she is about to embark on; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Megan Maureen reflects fondly upon her years 
9living and working in Chicago and graduating from the Chicago 
10International Academy of Design and Technology; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kevin P. Gow, Jr. shares Megan Maureen's  joy and 
12jubilation and fondly reflects upon living and working in 
13Chicago, and earning his master's degree from Chicago DePaul 
14University; he looks forward to his adventure as the husband 
15protector and provider; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, The values learned from  the father of the groom, a 
17former  Captain in the United States Marine Corps, and the late 
18Mrs. Gow, have provided Kevin the qualities of great character, 
19competence, vision, and drive;  they have created a leader, and 
20the father of the groom is proud knowing his son's formative 
21years, as the son of a Marine, have provided him with the

1intestinal fortitude and knowledge necessary to stand as a "Top 
2Gun" husband, father, and companion; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, The father of the bride - Precinct Captain of the 
433rd Ward, United States Marine circa 1960, Major, United 
5States Air Force/Cap., Chicago Park District's Security Park 
6Operations Manager, educator, and teacher - and the mother of 
7the bride, stand proud knowing that the lessons Megan Maureen 
8has learned from both father and mother have enabled her to 
9develop a positive, predictable, environment where all are 
10treated with respect and dignity; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The father and mother of the bride have instilled 
12the qualities of strength, courage, and perseverance in Megan  
13and have provided her with the necessary skills to be the 
14"best"  wife, which  will put to good use her father's values of 
15strength and perseverance; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, The mother of the bride is both an educator and a 
17teacher and is confident that Megan has acquired the                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          grace and 
18intellect so thoughtfully given; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we recognize the impending nuptials of Megan Maureen Korczynski 
22and Kevin P. Gow, Jr., and wish them many yeas of marital

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to Megan Korczynski and Kevin Gow, Jr. as an
