HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Quanda Evette Little-Basfield of Peoria, who passed away on December 24, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Quanda Little-Basfield was born in Peoria on December 9, 1969 to Queen Esther and Frank Little, Jr.; she graduated from Peoria High School in 1988; and

WHEREAS, Quanda Little-Basfield worked as a leasing agent for Timberlane Apartments; and

WHEREAS, Quanda Little-Basfield was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Quanda Little-Basfield was preceded in death by her parents, and by her sisters, Frankie Mae Little and Mary Louise Little; and

WHEREAS, Quanda Little-Basfield is survived by her sisters, Jessie Mae Wright, Barbara (John) Thornton, Cynthia Smith, Barbara (the Rev. Virgil) Gordon, Lorraine Jordan, Hazel Jones, and Mary L. Cheese; her brothers, Willie Little, Robert T. (Patricia) Little, James B. (Carolyn) Little, Leon (Loretta) Little, Sr., John (Shelley) Kyles, Michael D. Little, and Corey D. (Syreeta) Little; and a host of nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Quanda Evette Little-Basfield, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Quanda Little-Basfield as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
