HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Helen
4Temp, who passed away on October 20, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Temp was born on September 16, 1924 in
6Waukegan to John and Agnes (nee Anjoorian) Nordigian; she
7graduated from Waukegan Township High School in 1942; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Helen Temp worked at Abbott Laboratories, where
9she starred in their annual shows as the Drum Majorette and
10appeared in Abbott Laboratories' Pharmagraph Magazine;
11following her time there, she worked at the Great Lakes Naval
12Supply Depot; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Helen Temp was preceded in death by her parents;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Helen Temp was the loving mother of Annette (Gil)
16Lopez, Teri (Michael) Bennett, Jill Jansen, and Arthur (Becky)
17Temp; cherished grandmother of Christina (David) Bawcum, Jaime
18(Tim) Zaugra, Michael, Lindsey, Nicholas, Michael (Nicky),
19Miriam, Rebekah, Nathan, and Joanna; great-grandmother of
20Annabelle, Jaxson, and Cadence; dear sister of Peter Nordigian,
21the late Charles (the late Shirley) Nordigian, and the late

1Martha (the late Robert) Cobb; and found aunt of many nieces
2and nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
5we mourn the passing of Helen Temp, and extend our sincere
6condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
7her; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Helen Temp as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
