HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Robert J. 
4Dowey (Dynkowski) of Chicago; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Dowey was born on September 24, 1948 in 
6Chicago and was a lifelong Chicago resident; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Robert Dowey served his country with pride as a 
8member of the United States Air Force in Alaska during the late 
91960s; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Dowey had a passion for photography which 
11started as a hobby and led to a career, starting with his work 
12for the First National Bank of Chicago; from there, his work 
13was sought after by many eminent organizations and events in 
14Chicago; he was the official photographer of the Chicago 
15International Film Festival, the Hilton Hotel, and the Emmy 
16Awards, and his work was featured in CS Magazine, Michigan 
17Avenue, the Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun-Times; and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Dowey is survived by his partner, Armando 
19Munoz; his father, Chester Dynkowski; his brothers, James 
20Dynkowski, and his partner, David, and John Dynkowski and his 
21wife, Nancy; his niece, Beth; and his nephew, Michael;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of 
5Robert J. Dowey; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Robert Dowey as an expression of our 
8sympathy.
