AN ACT concerning appropriations.

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

ARTICLE 1

    Section 1.  The sum of $156,928,300, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the McCormick Place Expansion Project Fund to the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority for debt service on the Authority's McCormick Place Expansion Project Bonds, issued pursuant to the "Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority Act", as amended, and related trustee and legal expenses.

    Section 5.  The sum of $15,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority from the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority Incentive Fund for Fiscal Year 2015 for certified incentives paid to conventions, meetings and trade shows held at the McCormick Place Convention Center and Navy Pier complexes during Fiscal Year 2015.

    Section 10.  The sum of $8,935,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority from the Chicago Travel Industry and Promotion Fund for a grant to the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2014.
