Amends the Western Illinois University Law. With respect to the university's high school feedback system, requires the Board of Trustees to cooperate with the Board of Higher Education in submitting to each high school attendance center an annual report concerning the graduates of that high school attendance center. Effective immediately.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. The Western Illinois University Law is amended |
5 | | by changing Section 35-80 as follows:
|
6 | | (110 ILCS 690/35-80)
|
7 | | Sec. 35-80. High school feedback system. The Board shall |
8 | | establish a
feedback system to monitor the academic progress |
9 | | and success of Illinois high
school students enrolled at |
10 | | Western Illinois University. The Board, in
cooperation with the |
11 | | Board of Trustees of each other public university in the
State |
12 | | and the Board of Higher Education , shall submit annually to |
13 | | each high school attendance center located in
the State a |
14 | | single report with respect to the graduates of that high school
|
15 | | attendance center. The report shall include, but need not be |
16 | | limited to, the
following information: the number of high |
17 | | school graduates enrolled in each
public university and the |
18 | | major of each; the number of high school graduates
who have |
19 | | withdrawn from each public university; and student performance |
20 | | in
university coursework.
