AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5622





2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5622, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 
41, on page 7 by replacing lines 16 through 20 with the 
5following:


6            "(C) unlimited telephone access to obtain the 
7        payroll card account balance on the payroll card at any 
8        time without incurring a fee."; and
 
9on page 7, line 22, by deleting "declined transactions,"; and
 
10on page 7, line 23, by changing "or the" to "the"; and
 
11on page 7 by replacing line 26 with the following:
12    "following one year of inactivity. The payroll card program 
13    must offer the employee one declined transaction, at no 
14    cost to the employee, once per pay period but not less than 
15    twice and no more than 4 times  per month. Commercially

1    reasonable fees, limited to cover the costs to process 
2    declined transactions, if any, may be assessed on 
3    subsequent declined transactions within the pay period.".
