2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. The Use of Intoxicating Compounds Act is amended |
5 | | by changing Section 1 as follows:
|
6 | | (720 ILCS 690/1) (from Ch. 38, par. 81-1)

7 | | Sec. 1. Use prohibited. No person shall ingest, breathe, |
8 | | inhale or
drink any compound, liquid, or
chemical containing |
9 | | toluol, hexane, trichloroethylene, acetone, toluene,
ethyl |
10 | | acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, trichloroethane,
isopropanol, |
11 | | methyl isobutyl ketone, methyl cellosolve acetate, |
12 | | cyclohexanone,
the
the alkaloids atropine, hyoscyamine, or |
13 | | scopolamine, or any other substance
for the purpose of inducing |
14 | | a condition of intoxication,
stupefaction, depression, |
15 | | giddiness, paralysis or irrational behavior, or in
any manner |
16 | | changing, distorting or disturbing the auditory, visual or |
17 | | mental
processes. For the purposes of this Act, any such |
18 | | condition so induced shall be
deemed to be an intoxicated |
19 | | condition. |
