AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4530 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4530 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended  by 
5adding Section 11-55-3 as follows:
 
6    (65 ILCS 5/11-55-3 new)
7    Sec. 11-55-3. Vending machines. As used in this Division, 
8"vending machine" means either: (1) a coin, currency, or debit 
9or credit card operated machine that dispenses goods or 
10services, or (2) a coin, currency, or debit or credit card 
11operated machine that is connected to utility services and that 
12provides an enclosed space or designated area for the use of a 
13customer for pet grooming using goods or services dispensed by 
14the machine. "Vending machine" does not include machines 
15operated by the United States Postal Service for the sale of 
16postage stamps or other postal products and services, or

1machines described in Section 1 of the Coin-Operated Amusement 
2Device and Redemption Machine Tax Act, or video gaming machines 
3defined under Section 5 of the Video Gaming Act.".
