| 1 | | AN ACT concerning education.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 19-3.15 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/19-3.15 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 19-3.15. School additions; Chaney-Monge School |
| 8 | | District 88. Notwithstanding the requirements of any other |
| 9 | | applicable law and without further referendum approval, |
| 10 | | Chaney-Monge School District 88 is authorized to issue bonds in |
| 11 | | not to exceed the amount of $3,000,000 to provide for the |
| 12 | | improvement, alteration, and repair of schoolhouses and to fund |
| 13 | | the local share as required for a Capital Development Board |
| 14 | | school construction grant to fund school additions and |
| 15 | | associated construction and equipment with respect to which a |
| 16 | | referendum was passed on March 18, 2014.

| 17 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 18 | | becoming law.
