Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Human Rights for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, as follows:

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

ARTICLE 1

    Section 1.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the objects and purposes hereinafter enumerated:

ADMINISTRATION

  For Personal Services............................ 834,700

  For State Contributions to Social Security........ 63,900

  For Contractual Services......................... 143,800

  For Travel........................................ 16,500

  For Commodities................................... 15,700

  For Printing....................................... 4,700

  For Equipment..................................... 26,900

  For Telecommunications Services................... 22,000

  For Operation of Auto Equipment.................... 3,000

    Total                                        $1,131,200

    Section 5.  The sum of $77,500, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the purpose of funding expenses associated with the Commission on Discrimination and Hate Crimes as provided in Public Act 95-0425.

    Section 10.  The sum of $350,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Department of Human Rights Training and Development Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the purpose of funding expenses associated with administration.

    Section 15.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Department of Human Rights for the objects and purposes hereinafter enumerated:

The amount of $1,031,600, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Rights for expenses relating to the investigation and processing of human rights cases, and expenses associated with Elementary and Higher Education processing.

    Section 25.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the objects and purposes hereinafter enumerated:

    Section 30.  The sum of $350,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Department of Human Rights Special Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the purpose of funding expenses associated with the Department of Human Rights.

Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2013.
