| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 28A-5 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/28A-5)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 28A-5. Definitions. In this Article: |
| 8 | | "State Board" means the
the State Board of Education. |
| 9 | | "Education purchasing contract" means a contract |
| 10 | | negotiated by the State Board, a local, State, or federal |
| 11 | | governmental entity, or a not-for-profit, for-profit, or |
| 12 | | cooperative entity that is certified under Section 28A-15 of |
| 13 | | this Code and made available to school districts.

| 14 | | "Master contract" means a contract designated as a |
| 15 | | statewide education master contract under Section 28A-15 of |
| 16 | | this Code.
|
| 17 | | "Program" means the education purchasing program created |
| 18 | | under this Article.
