Amends the Open Meetings Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

625 ILCS 5/11-601from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-601

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that for purposes of the Section setting speed limits, the term "urban district" does not include any interstate highway as defined in the Code which includes all highways under the jurisdiction of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. Provides that, unless some other speed restriction is established under the Illinois Vehicle Code, the speed limit for any vehicle is 70 miles per hour on any interstate highway as defined in the Code which includes all highways under the jurisdiction of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.
