Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Nursing Home Care Act. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall promulgate rules specific to the staffing requirements for facilities that are federally defined as Institutions for Mental Disease and for facilities that are licensed under the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act (instead of within 120 days of the effective date of Public Act 97-689, the Department of Public Health shall promulgate such rules). Effective immediately.

Deletes reference to:

Adds reference to:
210 ILCS 48/1-101

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Authorizes the sale of alcoholic liquor near a specific hospital and specific places of worship located in the City of Chicago. Provides that certain votes to prohibit the sale of alcoholic liquor shall not apply to sales of alcoholic liquor at the Museum of Science and Industry in the City of Chicago. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Further amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Authorizes the sale of alcoholic liquor near specific churches and a school in the City of Chicago.
