Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Employee Indemnification Act. Adds individuals or organizations who contract with the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor to provide professional services to the definition of "employee". Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 2
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with changes. Provides that individuals (instead of individuals or organizations) who contract with the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor to provide legal services are considered "employees" only when performing duties within the scope of the Office's prosecutorial activities. Makes other changes. Effective immediately.
