Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Public Utilities Act. Makes a technical change in the short title Section.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
220 ILCS 5/1-101
Adds reference to:
220 ILCS 5/16-108.5

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that certain provisions concerning smart grid technology are inoperative after December 31, 2019 (instead of December 31, 2017). Effective immediately.

Changes the effective date from immediate to June 1, 2015.
