Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Latino Family Commission Act. Replaces the Department of Public Aid with the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. Adds liaisons from the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois State Board of Higher Education, the Illinois Community College Board, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Capital Development Board.

20 ILCS 3983/25

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with changes. Adds a liaison from the Department of Labor to serve ex-officio on the Illinois Latino Family Commission. Provides that the Illinois Latino Family Commission may receive funding through specific appropriations to the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois State Board of Higher Education, the Illinois Community College Board, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Capital Development Board, and the Department of Labor.
