Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person's driver's license, permit, or privilege to obtain a driver's license or permit may be subject to multiple revocations, multiple suspensions, or any combination of both simultaneously. Provides that no revocation or suspension shall serve to negate, invalidate, cancel, postpone, or in any way lessen the effect of any other revocation or suspension entered prior or subsequent to any other revocation or suspension. Makes corresponding changes.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Replaces everything after the enacting clause with the provision of the introduced bill, and replaces the corresponding changes with language providing that persons convicted of subsequent violations of the Section concerning driving while driver's license, permit or privilege to operate a motor vehicle is suspended or revoked are subject to specified penalties if the current and prior violations occurred while the person's driving privileges were suspended or revoked for certain offenses. Effective immediately.
