Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "imprisonment".

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
730 ILCS 5/5-1-10
Adds reference to:
730 ILCS 5/3-6-3from Ch. 38, par. 1003-6-3

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that a prisoner serving a sentence for aggravated battery by causing great bodily harm or permanent disability or disfigurement to an individual whom the person knows to be a peace officer, community policing volunteer, fireman, private security officer, correctional institution employee, or Department of Human Services employee supervising or controlling sexually dangerous persons or sexually violent persons: (1) performing his or her official duties; (2) battered to prevent performance of his or her official duties; or (3) battered in retaliation for performing his or her official duties shall receive no more than 4.5 days of sentence credit for each month of his or her sentence of imprisonment.
