3 | | learn of the death of Alice Suzanne Goodreau; and

4 | | WHEREAS, She was born in Chicago, the daughter of the late |
5 | | Joseph and Mary (Regan) Anlauf; she was a member of St. Thomas |
6 | | More Catholic Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and a former |
7 | | member of St. Luke Church in River Forest; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, She graduated from Chicago Teachers College and |
9 | | earned her Masters Degree in Education from the University of |
10 | | Nebraska; she had the pleasure to teach elementary school |
11 | | education in Madrid, Spain, the United States, and Taipei, |
12 | | Taiwan; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, She was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, serving during |
14 | | World War II; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. |
16 | | Goodreau; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Alice Goodreau is survived by her children Dr. |
18 | | James J. Goodreau (Susan), Mary Beth Andersen (Donald), Richard |
19 | | D. Goodreau, Dr. Joseph F. Goodreau (Diane), and Alice Suzanne |
20 | | Meyers (Dr. Steven); her 9 grandchildren; and her 7 |
