SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Fred Martin of Waukegan, who passed away 
4on May 5, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Martin was born on July 22, 1946, in 
6Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Fred Martin was a member of the United States 
8Marines during the Vietnam War; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Fred Martin was employed at International 
10Harvester for over 25 years and drove a semi-truck for 10 
11years; he enjoyed driving immensely, with his last job being 
12with Hribar Logistics; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Fred Martin was preceded in death by his parents, 
14Doyle and Evelyn (Micky) Martin; his sister, Barb Collins; and 
15his brother, Glen Martin; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Fred Martin is survived by his wife of 42 years, 
17Tina; his sons, Andy Martin and Freddy (Dawn) Martin; his 
18grandsons, Garrett and David; those who cherish him in memory, 
19Jerry (Betty) Martin, Judy (Marv) Nunley, Carol (John) Wensch, 
20Janet (Joe) Duncan, Roy Martin, and Dan (Debbie) Fielder; his

1many nieces and nephews; and his special caregiver, Denise 
2DeVoe; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5his family and friends, the passing of Fred Martin; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Fred Martin as an expression of our 
9sympathy.
