SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Alexander James Guletsky, who recently 
4passed away; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He graduated from Vernon Hills High School, where 
6he was the student body president for 2 years, a varsity 
7football player, a member of the National Honor Society, an 
8Illinois State Scholar, and an Eagle Scout; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, He also received the Daily Herald Leadership 
10Award, the Sons of the American Revolution Award, and was an 
11FBLA National Finalist; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, He was currently a freshman at the University of 
13Illinois, Champaign- Urbana, College of Business; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Alexander James Guletsky was the beloved son of 
15Peter and Paula Guletsky; the loving brother of Anastasia and 
16Tatiana; the proud grandson of Mary (the late James E.) Mammas 
17and the late Retired Colonel Walter and Tania Guletsky; the 
18fond nephew of Lucia Greenawalt, Evan (Marika) Mammas, Stephen 
19(Susan) and Alexander (Joann) Guletsky, and his devoted nanny, 
20Susan Germain; the dear cousin of Ryan (Kana), Darrin (Sarah), 
21Nathan, and Marysa Greenawalt, and Caidi and Joanna Mammas; the

1godson of Gail Zeheralis; and the godfather of Celia 
2Greenawalt; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5his family and friends, the passing of Alexander James 
6Guletsky; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Alexander James Guletsky as a symbol 
9of our sincere sympathy.
