SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Edward J. Stanclik, Sr. of Hegewisch, who 
4passed away on November 22, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He proudly and honorably served in the United 
6States Army during World War II; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, He was a member of the Wolf Lake Sportsman's Club, 
8VFW, and Young at Hearts; and

  
 
9    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, 
10John and Kyle; and his sister, Jean (late John) Piotrowski; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Edward Stanclik, Sr. was the beloved husband of 
12the late Anna Stanclik (nee Cap); he was the oving father of 
13Edward (Sheryl) Stanclik and Melissa (John) Schaller; he was 
14the caring grandfather of Melanie, Richard, Samantha, Bradley, 
15and Jack; he was the proud great grandfather of Scotty; he was 
16the caring brother of George (Lottie) Stenslik; and he was the 
17dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
20his family and friends, the passing of Edward J. Stanclik, Sr.;

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to the family of Edward J. Stanclik, Sr. as a symbol
