SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of George E. Hull of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on September 25, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born May 9, 1926 in Bensonville; he was a 
6veteran of World War II serving with the Navy in the South 
7Pacific; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, He was a member of the Corvette Club, enjoyed 
9playing golf at Bonnie Brook Golf Course, working on cars and 
10working in his yard; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, He was a firefighter at Great Lakes for 5 years 
12and retired from the Waukegan Fire Department as a Captain 
13after 22 years of service; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman 
15and Ella Hull; his sister, Beatrice (Wally) Zuhda; his infant 
16daughter, Jody; and 2 infant grandsons, William and Wayne 
17Grogan; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, George Hull is survived by his wife of 58 years, 
19Donna (nee Wedekind); his daughter, Denise (Gary) Grogan; his  
20sons, Jeffrey and Kurt (Karen) Hull; his granddaughters, Kalina

1and Kristi Hull; his grandsons, Gary (Jini) Grogan and Tim 
2(Shirley) Grogan; as well as 8 great-grandchildren; therefore, 
3be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6his family and friends, the passing of George Hull; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of George Hull as a symbol of our 
10sincere sympathy.
