SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Blanche O. Wille of Godfrey, who passed
4away on August 30, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born on January 3, 1921, in Carlinville,
6the daughter of Albert and Freda (Rhoades) Ealey; she married
7Victor C. Wille on September 21, 1938, at St. Patrick's
8Catholic Church in Alton; and
 
9    WHEREAS, She spent the early years of her working life as a
10bookkeeper employed by local businesses; she later started
11Wille Income Tax Service, which she operated successfully for
12nearly 25 years; she served on the Channel 9 Education Panel,
13was a lifetime founding member of St. Ambrose Church, was a
14member of the St. Ambrose Altar Society and the Daughters of
15Isabella, and served as President of the Diocesan Council of
16Catholic Women; and
 
17    WHEREAS, She held office as treasurer for several local
18organizations including the Sportsmen's Club Auxiliary, the
19Godfrey Democrats, and the Crisis Food Center; she served on
20the Godfrey Democratic Precinct Committee as chairman of the
21Precinct Committeemen; and

1    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor;
2her parents; her eldest son, Thomas A. Wille; her
3granddaughter, Valerie A. (Parker) Spurrier; her grandsons,
4Samuel W. Parker and John T. Fosko; her brother, Willis Ealey;
5her brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Elizabeth (Betty)
6Ealey; and her sons-in-law, Ralph Marberry and Thomas Parker;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Blanche Wille is survived by her children, Arlene
9K. Marberry, Barbara A. Parker, Richard D. (Dianne) Wille, Mary
10L. (Harold) Brand, Theresa M. Fuchs and friend, David Crouch,
11Patricia H. (Dr. Scott) Fosko, and Brenda E. (Maurice) Cope;
12her daughter-in-law, Sharold A. (Thomas) Wille; her
13sister-in-law, Evelyn Ealey; her 21 grandchildren; her 23
14great-grandchildren; her 7 great-great-grandchildren; and
15numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
18her family and friends, the passing of Blanche Wille; and be it
19further
 
20    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21presented to the family of Blanche Wille as a symbol of our
22sincere sympathy.
