3 | | learn of the death of Rebecca Elizabeth Kanohokela Kahooluhi |
4 | | Patton, who passed away on May 20, 2011; and

5 | | WHEREAS, Rebecca Elizabeth Kanohokela Kahooluhi Patton was |
6 | | born December 1, 1923 in Hawaii to Phillip and Maria |
7 | | Kahooluhiof Hawaii; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, She was employed at Pearl Harbor during World War |
9 | | II and was the Lei Day Queen of Pearl Harbor in 1944; she |
10 | | worked at Great Lakes when she came over to the main land after |
11 | | World War II; and
|
12 | | WHEREAS, She retired from the Lake County Courthouse |
13 | | Management Services Department after 32 years of service; she |
14 | | was an active volunteer and supporter of the Lake County Forest |
15 | | Preserve, the Lake County Council for Seniors, Immaculate |
16 | | Conception Church Rummage Sales, the Senior Circle, St. Therese |
17 | | Hospital, the Waukegan Symphony Concert Call, the |
18 | | Waukegan-North Chicago Senior Citizens Club, and Women of the |
19 | | Moose; and

20 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, John |
21 | | Patton; her daughter, Ann Patton; and her parents, Phillip and |
