SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Michael W. Kelly, who recently passed 
4away; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born January 18, 1950; and

  
 
6    WHEREAS, He was an United States Army Vietnam veteran; he 
7was a member of Cantigny Post VFW; he was president and owner 
8of Power House Tool Inc. and the holder of multiple patents; he  
9loved traveling the world with his family and friends and was a 
10charismatic story teller who's smile lit up the room; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. 
12and Paula M. (nee Burress) Kelly; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Michael Kelly was the loving father of Lizzi 
14(Jeff) Kelly-Ancel and Brandon Kelly; the loving grandfather of 
15Chloe Kelly, Caden, and Kailen Ancel; and the loving brother of 
16Jimmy (Kerry) and Danny (Laura) Kelly; he is also survived by 
17his beloved friend and advocate, Laura Patterson; his friend 
18and business partner, Glenn Jorgenson; he was the beloved uncle 
19of Ryan Kelly, Kristin Lauder, Paul Kelly, and Kristine 
20Kitchell; he also leaves a magnitude of friends; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3his family and friends, the passing of Michael Kelly; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Michael Kelly as a symbol of our 
7sincere sympathy.
