Makes appropriations to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for various purposes, including for ordinary and contingent expenses. Effective July 1, 2012.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Board of the Trustees of Southern Illinois University to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013:
Payable from the Education Assistance Fund:
For Personal Services, including payment
to the university for personal services
costs incurred during the fiscal year
and salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
personnel for personal services rendered
during the 2012-2013 academic year........ $197,712,000
For State Contributions to Social
Security, for Medicare....................... 2,346,700
For Group Insurance............................ 3,060,000
For Contractual Services....................... 9,826,700
For Travel........................................ 36,600
For Commodities.................................. 902,800
For Equipment.................................. 1,006,200
For Telecommunications Services................ 1,507,300
For Operation of Automotive Equipment............ 633,200
For Awards and Grants............................. 0
Total $217,031,500
Section 10. The sum of $20,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for scholarship grant awards, in accordance with Public Act 91-83.
Section 15. The sum of $1,250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Professions Dedicated Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for all costs associated with the development, support, or administration of pharmacy practice education or training programs at the Edwardsville campus.
Section 20. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for all costs associated with the SimmonsCooper Cancer Center.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2012.
