| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Accountability for the Investment of Public |
| 5 | | Funds Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 5. Definitions. As used in this Act:

| 8 | | "Public funds" means current operating funds, special |
| 9 | | funds, interest and

funds, and funds of any kind or |

agency. |
| 11 | | "State agency" means those entities included in the |
| 12 | | definition of "State
agencies"
in the Illinois State Auditing |
