Amends the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Hair Braiding, and Nail Technology Act of 1985. Provides that a licensed barber is required to wear disposable gloves when shaving any part of a person's face, neck, or hairline. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Hair |
| 5 | | Braiding, and Nail
Technology Act of 1985 is amended by adding |
| 6 | | Section 2-10 as follows:

| 7 | | (225 ILCS 410/2-10 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 2-10. Business practices. A licensed barber is |
| 9 | | required to wear disposable gloves when shaving any part of a |
| 10 | | person's face, neck, or hairline. A violation of this Section |
| 11 | | shall be grounds for disciplinary action under Section 4-7 of |
| 12 | | this Act.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
