| 1 | | AN ACT concerning insurance.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 357.29 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (215 ILCS 5/357.29) (from Ch. 73, par. 969.29)

| 7 | | Sec. 357.29.
Any policy of a foreign or alien company, when |
| 8 | | delivered or
issued for delivery to any person in this State, |
| 9 | | may contain any provision
which is not less favorable to the
|
| 10 | | the insured or the beneficiary than the
provisions of this |
| 11 | | article and which is prescribed or required by the law
of the |
| 12 | | state under which the company is organized. |
| 13 | | Any policy of a domestic company may, when issued for |
| 14 | | delivery in any
other state or country, contain any provision |
| 15 | | permitted or required by the
laws of such other state or |
| 16 | | country.
